Hello,

At the moment I'm using a tool which shows a lot of information in a grid. Alas, there is no means to export the information, and I would really like to use the information in a spreadsheet for some further calculations.

Is there software available to screen-scrape the data from this grid and save it as a file (txt, csv, or other)? If not, does anybody know how one should go about writing such a tool (preferably in Delphi)?

I've done the opposite in Java several years ago, where I wrote a small program that would perform actions on another program by sending keystrokes and moving the mouse around, but I've never had to extract data from another program.

If I Google for screen-scraping software, all results I seem to be able to find are for scraping websites, so those are not really helpful for my situation.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
