Baby boy dead after 'incident' in quiet street


 
A BABY boy, three-months-old, who was left seriously injured after an incident in a quiet Swindon street has died as a result of his injuries.
 
The infant was hurt in Thresher Drive last week.
 
 Police were called at March 25 and the baby was rushed to Great Western Hospital.
 
 He was later transferred to Bristol Royal Infirmary.
 
 But sadly he has now died of his injuries.
 
 Police said: “A 50-year-old local man remains on bail after being arrested in connection with the incident. Police are continuing with their enquiries.”
 
 At the time of the incident, officers said they were "working to ascertain how the baby sustained his injuries".
