Knife-wielding man shouting Allahu Akbar taken down by cops at busy border crossing

SHOCKING CCTV captured the moment police overpowered a knife-wielding man shouting “Allahu Akbar” before attacking an officer.
One cop was injured in the dramatic attack near the Spanish-Moroccan border today (Tuesday).
In the shocking footage, the man – dressed in a blue shirt and white shorts – is seen walking across the border while waving a knife.
Spanish police keep their distance before one officer runs up behind him and knocks him to the ground by hitting him with a white traffic barrier.
The man is then swarmed by several other riot police officers who arrested him after one of their colleagues was stabbed in the hand.
Believed to be Moroccan, the man approached the border at Beni Enzar at around 7.45am local time and shouted "Allahu Akbar" – Arabic for “God is great” – before he was brought down by police.
Spain's interior minister Juan Ignacio Zoido confirmed the attack on Twitter.
He said: “The police have arrested a man who attacked with a knife agents at the border crossing of Beni Ansar.”
He later told reporters: “The rapid, coordinated and professional conduct of the police has avoided a serious incident in Beni Enzar. All my support to the hurt officer.”
Detectives are now investigating the incident, but it is believed the knifeman ran through traffic towards a guarded fence and started threatening officers.
Earlier this year, shocking video captured the moment a man waving a machete and shouting “Allahu Akbar” was shot down by cops in the Netherlands.
