North Korea leader ORDERS hotline with South be reopened after Trump nuke boast

NORTH Korean tyrant Kim Jong-un has demanded that a long-defunct hotline with South Korea be reopened today for crisis talks, it has been announced.

The border hotline will open at 6.30am with the aim of establishing formal dialogue about sending a North Korean team to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in South Korea next month, a Seoul official has said.

It comes after Kim said he was open to speaking with his arch-enemy.

WW3 tensions have been stoked over the past year after the rogue state carried out a series of nuke and missile tests.

Tubby dictator Kim even added fuel to the fire when he admitted he could order a nuclear strike with the push of a button.

But, US President Donald Trump warned over Twitter his nuclear abilities were more powerful.

He said: “Will someone from his depleted and food-starved regime please inform him that I too have a nuclear button, but mine is a much bigger and more powerful one than his.

“And my button works.”

The stunning exchange came the day after Kim sad he was open to negotiations but he would push ahead with “mass producing” nuclear warheads.

US President Donald Trump has led a global drive to pressure North Korea to give up its development of nuclear-tipped missiles capable of hitting the mainland.
