Anthony Joshua to confirm big fight with Joseph Parker in next 48 hours

ANTHONY JOSHUA will confirm his heavyweight clash with Joseph Parker in the next 48 hours.

The IBF and WBA heavyweight champion will clash with the WBO title holder at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on March 31.

Then he wants to become the undisputed heavyweight king by facing WBC king Deontay Wilder before the end of the year.

“That’s the plan,” said. “I’m working on it.”

First Joshua must deal with unbeaten Kiwi Parker.

Promoter Eddie Hearn was continuing talks with David Higgins, his opposite number, last night in London.

The deal is understood to be all agreed with just minor details needing to be thrashed out before the contracts can be officially signed.

Barring any late hitches it is expected that Parker will fly to London over the weekend to sign and meet face-to-face with Joshua at a press conference next week.
