Arsenal star Danny Welbeck for bouncing back after injury hell

ARSENAL skipper Per Mertesacker has hailed Danny Welbeck for keeping the faith during his ten-month injury nightmare.
The German centreback said Welbeck showed tremendous mental strength as he was hit by setback after setback.
The England striker came off the bench on Sunday to score the winner for Arsenal on their 2-1 win over Premier League leaders Leicester.
It was the last attack of the match and gave a huge shot in the arm to the north Londoners' title ambitions, talking them to two points behind the flying Foxes.
"Danny was busy after the match, he had to train after so it was a quick celebration with him," said Mertesacker.
"A hug and a well done says it all.
"For him, to go through a bad period, an injured period where he kept believing in himself when everyone maybe doubts him, it was a great chance for him to come in and show that he is ready and ready to give everything to the team, then things come back to you.
"He was always integrated in the team but when you feature on the pitch and give the team such a great goal and energy, it gives himself a big lift."
