Basketball team is wheelchair tournament in 2nd city


The basketball team on the wheelchair of smele / Adefu (Association for the Physically Uberaba) was the last weekend in the city of Patos de Minas disputing the 3rd Cup Unipar Basketball on Wheels and returned to Uberaba in second place in Tournament losing only to the home team.
The tournament was attended by teams of Uberaba, Patos de Minas, and Araguari Divinópolis system and fight followed the way of all against all in a single round, with the first and second place was rediscovered in the final. In a final well balanced team at the beginning of Uberaba not bear the fatigue due to travel with only seven players, and finished the game with the score favors the home team by 43 to 30.
The team was represented by athletes Adefu James Dean, Mario Spirandelli, Adriano Elias, Jr Everaldo, Psalm Borges, Clarinaldo and Henrique de Souza Farias.
According to the Secretary of Sports and Leisure Dalberto Carlos de Oliveira (Belzinho), attentions now turn to the training targets for participation in the East Regional Championship, in Niterói, RJ, between d 31 May and 05 June.
Training sessions are conducted by Professor Rodrigo that happen on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 18:30 to 20:30 in the gym of the whole Adefu Uberaba I and are taught by Professor Rodrigo Adriano.
