Jose Mourinho: Why I've included Luke Shaw in Man United squad to face Bournemouth


 
JOSE MOURINHO has confirmed Luke Shaw is in his squad for tomorrow's game against Bournemouth.
 
The left-back has been in the dog house for months as the United boss favoured the likes of Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo in defence.
 
 Mourinho wanted Shaw to prove himself in training before he'd be allowed to play again.
 
 And it seems the young England left-back has proved himself sufficiently to earn a run-out.
 
 Mourinho says Shaw needs a chance to 'feel alive' now that he's been putting the work in behind the scenes.
 
 “Luke Shaw is selected for tomorrow, so you won’t need to have the guys at the Lowry taking pictures of the players, to see which ones are on the list," he said today.
 
 "Luke is working hard, he’s trying to improve, he improved by the physical point of view I can say that by good dedication, specific work and now he needs some opportunities to feel alive.
 
 "He needs minutes on the pitch to show evolution because a player is not just a better physical condition.”
