Chelsea make Frank Lampard announcement ahead of Swansea clash

CHELSEA have revealed that Frank Lampard will be returning to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
But the club legend will not be donning the blue shirt again to face Swansea - he will be a special half-time guest.
A statement on the Chelsea website said: "Supporters attending Saturday’s game against Swansea City are advised to remain in their seats at half-time as Chelsea legend Frank Lampard will be introduced to the crowd.
"Lampard, the club’s all-time highest goalscorer, will be at Stamford Bridge to cheer on the Blues, and during the break he will be brought out and walked around the pitch, giving supporters the opportunity to show their appreciation for what he achieved during a wonderful 13-year Chelsea career."
Lampard made 648 appearances for Chelsea and is the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
He skippered the Blues to the Champions League and Europa League titles in 2012 and 2013 and won 11 major honours during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard brought the curtain down on his career earlier this month after leaving New York City FC.
The match-day programme will also be dedicated to the former England star.
Chelsea added: "To mark the fact Lampard will be a special guest at the game, Saturday’s match-day programme will come with a special wrap-around cover paying tribute to our former midfielder, featuring images of some of his most memorable moments."
