Arsene Wenger bites back at Jose Mourinho over cash complaint: He's got no right to whinge

ARSENE WENGER says Jose Mourinho has no right to whinge with his “£300m is not enough to compete” moan.

Mourinho insists Manchester United have not spent enough in the transfer market to keep up with the likes of Manchester City in the title race.

But Arsenal boss Wenger claims he has been in the same position for years and told Mourinho he will just have to learn to cope!

A smiling Wenger said: “I have been in that position for 21 years so I can’t start to complain now. There have always been three or four teams richer than I am.

“I’ve learned to cope with that. We deal with our own situation as well as we can. Man City, Chelsea and Man United are all richer than us.

“You just have to find ways to be successful.”

Mourinho has massively outspent Wenger in recent years. He even broke the world record last summer to sign £89m midfielder Paul Pogba.
