Lucas Moura to Arsenal: Unai Emery hands Gunners huge boost ahead of potential £35m swoop

PARIS ST-GERMAIN boss Unai Emery has told Lucas Moura to find a new club if he wants to pay regular football for the rest of the season.

Moura has fallen down the pecking order at PSG following the mega-money arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The French giants value the 25-year-old at around £35m and are willing to listen to offers for him to leave on a permanent deal.

Starsport revealed this week that north London giants Arsenal and Tottenham are set to battle it out for the Brazil ace.

And the Premier League big guns can be buoyed by Emery’s comments.

He said: “I clearly told him, very respectfully, he's hardly going to play much more than the first season half, here with us.

“If he needs more game time, he should look for a different club."

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino are understood to have both met with Moura’s agent Wagner Ribeiro recently.

While PSG want around £35m for Moura, if the Gunners and Spurs bid against each other that fee could rise.

He has had just five substitute appearances for the Ligue 1 leaders this season and has not featured at all since their French League Cup win at Strasbourg on December 13.

The ex-Sao Paulo ace recently hit out at his lack of game-time under Emery in recent weeks.

"It's a brutal blow," he said. "I'm gutted that I'm no longer playing, to no longer be able to express myself as I was doing before.

"I'm not happy. I thought I'd built something solid with this club, but that's clearly not the case."
