Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will not appeal stadium ban and misses Stoke clash
 
JOSE MOURINHO will not attend Chelsea’s match with Stoke tomorrow after deciding not to appeal against his one game stadium ban.
 
 The Blues boss was banned by the FA and fined £40,000 after admitting a misconduct charge over his language and behaviour in last month’s defeat to West Ham.
 
 Mourinho was forced to watch the second half of the match from the stands after speaking to referee John Moss at half-time.
 
 He had until midday today to lodge an appeal but he will now leave his backroom staff in charge at the Britannia Stadium.
 
 “The match is tomorrow,” Mourinho said.
 
 “I know the result of the appeal already, so I decide to give up.
 
 “I think it's stupid to fight a fight you know you already lose.”
