STEVEN GERRARD reckons Liverpool should sign Borussia Dortmund sensation Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
 
He also bagged a stunning hat-trick in Dortmund’s Champions League victory over Benfica in midweek.
 
 And Anfield legend Gerrard reckons Jurgen Klopp should consider signing the Gabon international.
 
 When quizzed on BT Sport by Gary Lineker if Aubameyang was the type of player Liverpool should sign, Gerrard said: “Yeah, but if he’s in this type of form he’ll alert a lot of clubs not just Liverpool.
 
 “He attacks the frame all the time, and he gets tap-ins because of his movement.”
 
 However, if the Reds do make a move for Aubameyang, they'll face serious competition for his signature.
 
 The Sun reckon Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is ready to go all-out to sign the influential striker.
 
 It is said that City have made contact with his representatives and received encouragement that a deal can be struck.
 
 Real Madrid were also keen on the Dortmund ace but have cooled their interest recently.
