Great Britain miss out AGAIN: Men's pair finish fourth after being edged out by Italy


 
GREAT BRITAIN have missed out on a medal in the coxless men's pair final.
 
Alan Sinclair and Stewart Innes came home in fourth despite being in contention for long periods.
 
 They were edged out for bronze by Italy in the final 100m.
 
 New Zealand's Hamish Bond and Eric Murray, who haven't lost since 2009, took gold with South Africa winning silver.
 
 There was more heartache in the men’s squad sculls final.
 
 Great Britain went out hard but wilted in the back half of the race and came home fifth.
 
 Germany held off Australia in a tight finish to take gold with Estonia third.
