Neymar snubbed as Chelsea, Man City and Barcelona stars make UEFA team of the year

WHO were the top performers in 2017, according to fans?

The UEFA team of the year is voted for by fans on the governing body’s official website, and this year two Premier League stars have made the cut.

Chelsea and Manchester City are the two English clubs represented but it is European champions Real Madrid who unsurprisingly dominate the selection.

Five of Los Blancos’ superstars were voted into the team, along with a couple of big names from Juventus, one PSG ace and a familiar face from Barcelona.

But surprisingly, PSG’s world record signing Neymar, who came third in the voting for the 2017 Ballon d’Or, misses out.
