Liverpool in talks after confirming £15m winger transfer yesterday


 
LIVERPOOL are in talks with Wycombe following Jordon Ibe's move to Bournemouth.
 
According to Bucks Free Press, the Chairboys will be handed some of Liverpool's £15m windfall because of a sell-on clause inserted in the deal that took Ibe to Anfield in 2011.
 
 Ibe came through Wycombe's academy and was handed his senior debut as a 15-year-old.
 
 He made 11 appearances for the club before Liverpool came calling.
 
 Despite playing 41 times in all competitions last season, Jurgen Klopp deemed him surplus to requirements
 
 In all, Ibe made 58 first-team appearances for Liverpool, bagging four goals in the process.
 
 The Kop club said in a statement: "Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes Jordon all the best in his future career."
 
 Ibe has penned a four-year deal at the Vitality Stadium to become Bournemouth's record signing.
 
 The speedy winger will replace Scotland international Matt Ritchie, who opted to leave for Championship heavyweights Newcastle.
