Liverpool transfer update: Jurgen Klopp rules out shock Barcelona raid
JURGEN KLOPP has dismissed suggestions that he wants to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
According to the Daily Mirror, the German - who took charge of the Merseysiders last October - is a big admirer of his fellow countryman and is keen to acquire his services this month.
The Reds, who suffered a 2-0 defeat to West Ham last Saturday, are also said to be interested in signing Cologne stopper Timo Horn.
However, Klopp has dismissed suggestions of imminent bids for the duo by revealing that he is satisfied with the Merseysiders' current No.1 Simon Mignolet.
"No. They're good goalkeepers, but no," he said when pressed on the club's reported interest in Ter Stegen and Horn.
"Our goalkeeping situation is absolutely okay.
"Simon Mignolet is a really, really good keeper."
