EVERTON TO RIVAL ASTON VILLA FOR TOULOUSE STAR WISSAM BEN YEDDER

EVERTON are planning a January move for Toulouse star Wissam Ben Yedder.

The 22-year-old has been in stunning form this term, netting six times in just eight Ligue 1 matches.

And Toffees boss David Moyes is one of a number of managers to express an interest in the France U-21 international.

With doubts persisting over Marouane Fellaini's future at Goodison Park, Moyes is exploring his options in case the influential Belgian decides to leave.

Although not a like-for-like replacement, Ben Yedder's versatility and goal-scoring threat make him an attractive target.

But the Merseysiders will first have to ward off the interests of Aston Villa, who have also scouted the star.
