Man United offered £60m Real Madrid star in move that would rock Premier League

MANCHESTER UNITED have been offered Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez.
But United might have to break the British transfer record again if they want the Colombian midfielder.
Real value Rodriguez, 24, at £60 million, having signed him from Monaco two years ago for £3m more than that.
The offer of Rodriquez was made to the Old Trafford club on Real’s behalf by his agent – the influential Jorge Mendes.
United are now weighing up the proposition for a player who has also been linked with Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus.
He’s available at Madrid after losing his starting place, having signed after a successful World Cup two years ago.
The current record signing by a British club is the £59.7 million paid by United two years ago for Angel Di Maria - now in France with Paris St-Germain.
That deal was also done with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
