Man Utd summer deal in jeopardy: Jose Mourinho could move for Chelsea star instead


 
MANCHESTER UNITED could reportedly move for Willian instead of Ivan Perisic.
 
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the Inter Milan star this week.
 
 Reports suggested United are set to beat Chelsea to the Croatian winger in a £40m deal.
 
 Perisic, 28, has reportedly agreed a £100,000-a-week move to Old Trafford this summer.
 
 However, according to The Independent, United have hit a stumbling block in their move for Perisic.
 
 They claim Inter want £50m for the attacker, where as the Red Devils will only pay £35m.
 
 The Independent add that Inter's demand could see Jose Mourinho look elsewhere, with Chelsea star Willian his first choice.
 
 United are said to have made an approach to the Blues about the Brazil international.
 
 However, Willian, 28, has turned down the idea of leaving Chelsea for Old Trafford.
 
 The winger, who is under contract until 2020, has been vocal on his future this season.
 
 When asked if he will be a Chelsea player next term, Willian: “Yes. I have a contract with Chelsea until 2020 and I am very happy here.
 
 “I have a great relationship with all the people that work at Chelsea and the fans too. They have been great to me since I joined.
 
 “Chelsea are back in the Champions League next season and I am looking forward to playing in it again.
 
 “It is a big, big target for us and we have to look to win that trophy next year.”
