Ryan Giggs gives update on Gareth Bale’s future amid Man Utd and Tottenham speculation

WALES boss Ryan Giggs says he doesn’t care who Gareth Bale plays for.

The influential winger is widely expected to leave the Bernabeu at the end of this campaign.

Real are having a torrid season and slumped to another defeat last night.

They suffered a 1-0 loss to Espanyol in Catalonia.

Gerard Moreno bagged an injury time winner for the Barcelona-based outfit.

A major summer overhaul is expected and Bale could be packing his bags.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a swoop - as have his former club Tottenham.

But Giggs - who was appointed Wales chief in January - insists he’s not bothered who his star man turns out for.

"His future doesn't concern me, he's at a brilliant club," said Giggs.

"When you're at a top club, as I know, you're constantly under scrutiny.

“I went to see him and he was happy. He wasn't happy he didn't start, but the next few games he started."

Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague claimed last week that Bale is at loggerheads with Ziendine Zidane over his fitness.

“He has been on the bench for three of the last four games,” Balague said.

“I think he feels that Zidane is not treating him properly and that even though they had all the medical reports of his situation that the club didn’t act accordingly or in the right way, hence the recurrence of injuries.

“He now expects to be on the bench for more games.”
