Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink blocks move for Liverpool target
 

 
 CHELSEA manager Guus Hiddink has blocked a move for Alexandre Pato.
 
 The forward, 26, and his representatives held talks last week with the champions, who were considering a £7m offer until Hiddink shelved the deal.
 
 The Blues boss is unsure if Pato could boost Chelsea’s Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
 
 Pato’s agents have also claimed Liverpool are interested in their man but the Anfield club are not targeting the Corinthians player.
 
 Chelsea, meanwhile, could lose Nemanja Matic in the summer.
 
 The Serbia midfielder, 27, is one of several players considering their Stamford Bridge future, with question marks also hanging over Pedro, Diego Costa, Oscar and Eden Hazard.
 
 Self-confessed Blues fan Paul Merson, meanwhile, has backed his former club Arsenal to see off Chelsea when they meet today. “As a Chelsea fan I’d like to back them to get a draw but I‘ve a job to do and I’ve got to be honest – Arsenal will win,”
