Athletes of the London 2012 Paralympic Project, Maria da Graça Fernandes (class T38) and Gabriel Macchi (class T12), were present at meetings of athletics held in Germany between 9 and June 13.
Maria da Graça Fernandes was the first into action in Leverkusen, where he competed in the 100 meters achieving minimum B for the World Championships in Athletics with a mark of 15.58s.
But it was in the long jump the athlete has achieved its best performance when performing 3:46 meters, a mark that is the minimum for that World.
Already in Bottrop, G Macchi, in the 10,000 meters, was ranked at No. 1 with a time of 33.48.47, a minimum mark B for the World Cup.
Grace, in the long jump, showed his current good form and got an excellent mark from 3.51 meters.
In the 200 meters, the athlete performed a time of 32.03s, B minimum mark for the World Cup.
