Michy Batshuayi snapped training with Chelsea as transfer speculation ramps up

MICHY BATSHUAYI was pictured training with Chelsea this afternoon.

The Belgian striker is expected to leave Stamford Bridge on transfer deadline day tomorrow, as rumours of Olivier Giroud’s arrival intensify.

Batshuayi signed for £33m from Marseille in summer 2016, and while he has failed to hold down a regular place in Antonio Conte’s side he did score the goal that clinched the title last season and has a solid record of 19 strikes from 53 matches - most of which have been brief substitute appearances.

Borussia Dortmund are being linked with signing him, as they are losing star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal.

But while the Belgian is likely to leave, he looked in good spirits as he took part in training at Cobham today.

Conte’s men take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge tomorrow, as they look to kick on from their 3-0 FA Cup win over Newcastle at the weekend.
