National Championship Adapted Swimming Spring 2011

It will take place this week-end, the National Championship Spring Adapted Swimming, Pool Hall in Povoa do Varzim, an organization of Cerebral Palsy - National Association for Sport (PCand) under the aegis of the Portuguese Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities.
The Saturday session will start at 16h00 till 19h00 and on Sunday will be from 09h00 to 13h00 (the heating will begin one hour before the exams) and will be about 60 athletes from 16 sports clubs across the country and islands.
This Championship is open to all areas of deficiency, and an event sanctioned by the International Paralympic Committee, IPC, is the first major competition assessment for athletes who are part of the Paralympic Project, which will start a phase consists of various moments of measurement that will take between June 29 and July 11 next, the European Championship in Berlin (Germany).
