Potential Paralympic You?





 On Feb. 28, Friday, from 10:00 am, the hall of St. Brás José de Sousa Pires opens the door to our project "Potential Paralympic You?", Which aims to raise awareness of the sport adapted and identify new talent for Paralympic competition.

 This project follows on from the "Start at Home" which promoted the sport adapted to potential public and continues now with this, to raise awareness for the athletes competing at the highest levels, the Paralympic Games.

 This second draft disability sports, was initially composed of four fields of evidence, from North to South. Action already taken place in June and later this will take more action two days on November 11, the Torch and the 3rd of December in Alcoitão.

 This project aims to invite all potential athletes to participate in a full day of activities, which will be monitored and evaluated by Paralympic coaches and technicians.

 In São Brás this initiative is designed not only for FPDD, but also by the Center for Rehabilitation of the South, with the support of the Municipality of São Brás and challenges young people of all ages, regardless of their disabilities, to participate in 6 modes available: athletics, boccia, cycling, indoor rowing, tennis and archery.

 The demonstration activities will take place between 10.00 and 14.00 and challenge young athletes to test their skills in various sports, a unique opportunity to discover new tastes and new opportunities for the future.

 This open day is also intended for students and professionals from health and sport, as well as the entire population in general.
