TOTTENHAM AND LIVERPOOL TARGET LEANDRO DAMIAO OPENS DOOR TO CHELSEA MOVE

LEANDRO DAMIAO has revealed he would love to link up again with Chelsea star Oscar.

The highly sought-after Brazilian stated his ambition to play once more with his former Internacional team-mate.

But the 23-year-old was coy over the possibility of a move to the Premier League in January.

Damiao has been a long-term target for Tottenham, with Arsenal and Liverpool also thought to hold an interest in the talented striker.

And although Damiao spoke of his attraction to English football, he made it clear that he is still under contract at Internacional.

"The Premier League has great charm and England is a beautiful country, this I'm sure of since I have played there during the Olympics, but I do not think about a transfer," he said.

Chelsea are keen to bring in a new striker in the upcoming transfer window, following Fernando Torres's continuing troubles in front of goal.

And the Stamford Bridge club would be likely to consider a bid for Damiao, if they are unable to land prime target Falcao.

But despite speaking about his admiration for Oscar, Damiao repeated his claim that he was not actively looking for a move abroad.

Rumours of a departure have spiralled in recent weeks, after Intenacional failed to qualify for the South American equivalent of the Champions League.

"[Oscar's] a fantastic player, I have an excellent relationship with him, I'd like to one day play together again.

"But I repeat: I have a contract to be honoured with International next year, despite not playing in the [Copa] Libertadores.

"If a European club will come to me, we will evaluate every situation."
