ATLETICO MADRID READY TO SELL CHELSEA AND LIVERPOOL TARGET DIEGO GODIN
ATLETICO MADRID have sparked a mad scramble for Diego Godin after admitting they need to sell the defender.
The La Liga side are due to pay a huge tax bill in October, which they will only be able to afford if they offload one of their stars.
And with club bosses unwilling to let go of highly-rated striker Falcao, centre-back Godin is the favourite to leave, suggests Madrid-based newspaper Marca.
Chelsea have previously made a bid for the 26-year-old and are thought to retain an interest.
And Liverpool have also lined up the Uruguay international as a potential replacement for Daniel Agger, should he move to Manchester City.
