Seven fight for place in terms of the 2016 Paralympics



International Paralympic Committee's decision will leave in December. Zero, one or two mode may be included in 2016.



 Seven methods are still in contention for inclusion in the Special Olympics program in Rio de Janeiro 2016. In mid-July, the sports interested in being part of the Games had to deliver to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) a declaration confirming the intention to plead vacancy.

Still struggle to enter the program badminton, canoeing, golf, football electric wheelchair, taekwondo, triathlon and basketball for people with intellectual disabilities.
 
"These seven methods are in dispute. May be included in the 2016 Games program from zero to two terms, "said Andrew Parsons, chairman of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPI) and the Committee of the IPC Paralympic Games.
 
Nine rules had applied, but two of them did not carry the demand: for amputees handball and futsal for people with intellectual disabilities.
 
"The Paralympics Committee will evaluate and forward the recommendation to the Executive Committee of the CPI to decide," explains Parsons.
 
The final decision of whether or not the procedures in the program for 2016 will be taken by the CPI in December this year.
 
The 2016 Paralympics will be conducted seven to September 18, already have 20 sports in your program: archery, athletics, boccia, cycling, equestrian, football 5 for the blind, for amputees soccer 7, goalball , judo, weightlifting, rowing, sailing, shooting sports, swimming, table tennis, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis.
