Man United boss Louis van Gaal: I'll play youngsters on pre-season tour
 
LOUIS VAN GAAL will bring a number of Manchester United’s youngsters on the club’s US tour this summer.
 
 The Dutch manager has called on the up-and-coming players to prove they are worth a spot in his first team squad.
 
 Van Gaal is planning another massive summer spend at Old Trafford this summer with up to £150m to be splashed on new talent.
 
 But he also wants more youngsters coming through and will bring a number of the players who led United to success in the Under-21 league last season to America.
 
 He said: “'I shall take a lot of youngsters with us to the USA.
 
 “They have the chance to show themselves and then we shall wait and observe how they can develop.
 
 “You get your chances always, especially in pre-season and, when you grab that chance, you have maybe the possibility to join us next season.”
 
 United face Club America, San Jose Earthquakes, Barcelona and Paris St-Germain next month.
