LUIS SUAREZ saved Liverpool from a disastrous NINTH Premier League defeat of 2012 with a late equaliser against Aston Villa at Anfield.

The striker headed in from close range after Chris Herd had put Villa ahead with a super first-half strike.

Kop boss Kenny Dalglish said: ‘‘We showed great character. The longer the game went the stronger we got. We deserved the goal.”
