TOTTENHAM have made an enquiry about Alexis Sanchez, amid rumours Barcelona could be willing to sell the star.

The White Hart Lane club have let their interest be known to representatives of the Chile international, according to local media reports.

Sanchez has endured a tough start to life at the Nou Camp, with the 23-year-old yet to reproduce the stunning form that earned him his £30million move.

The talented forward even recently admitted himself that his form this season had been well below what was expected.

And with Barca hoping to bring in Brazilian sensation Neymar next summer, selling Sanchez could be key to funding the move.
