Conor McGregor responds to Jose Aldo: Maybe I'll go back down to 145 and shut you up



CONOR MCGREGOR has warned Jose Aldo that he is more than willing to hand him another KO defeat.
 
 Aldo took aim at the Irishman shortly after his submission loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 in the early hours of Sunday morning and demanded a rematch with the featherweight champion.
 
 He said: "See you at #UFC200 @TheNotoriousMMA.
 
 "Your fairy tale is over. You got nowhere to run now.
 
 "Time to a rematch, pussy."
 
 McGregor, whose defeat to Diaz took place in the welterweight division, was far from impressed by Aldo's comments and has told the Brazilian to watch out.
 
 "I've seen the Jose thing," he told Fox Sports.
 
 "He can celebrate through another man's victory.
 
 "But at the end of the day, when we faced (each-other) he was unconscious.
 
 "That's not the sign of a true champion for me. He's celebrating my loss when I defeated him.
 
 "He's celebrating somebody else's victory but when I defeated him I showed him respect.
 
 "Maybe I'll go back down and shut him up one more time."
 
 "It is what it is. I'll be back."
 
 McGregor, 19-3, also warned his featherweight rivals that he's more than willing to drop back down to 145lbs and remind them that he's the king of the division.
 
 "I know there's a lot of people celebrating this in the featherweight division," he added.
 
 "There are many people celebrating another man's victory. I cannot understand how another somebody not involved can celebrate another man's victory.
 
 "At the end of the day, I am the featherweight world champion.
 
 "I feel it is right to go back to down and remind of them of what I've achieved and what I've done to that division."
