Rugby fan sparks outcry after POOING on pub table – before leaving a NOTE
A RUGBY fan has sparked outcry after doing a poo on a pub table during a Six Nations game – before leaving a note to apologise.
An unnamed man has admitted he defecated in the premises while Wales were beating Scotland on Saturday.
Shocked staff at the Dog and Piano pub in Carmarthen, Wales, have slapped the culprit and pals with a lifetime ban.
Owner, Nicola Morris, said: "There was a group of around 12-15 men who had come in after the rugby.
"I was walking around the pub when a member of staff came over and alerted me to what had happened.
"Someone had defecated on the table at the front of the pub.
"Another one of the group had then got an empty pint glass and stuck it in the ‘mess’."
She added that some left immediately after being disgusted by the act, but others stayed on to clean up the mess on the table.
Mrs Morris added: "When I asked them to leave, one of them laughed in my face."
She blasted the incident as "horrific" and said she'd never encountered anything like it before.
In a letter of apology, the punter said: "I’m very sorry and embarrassed for what I did, and it has already affected my wife, family and friends.
"If you would want me to come clean the pub or any other tasks around the place, or make a donation to a charity of your choice, I would gladly do so."
