2 º Camp. World Indoor Rowing INAS-FID - Walk BY 10World Indoor Rowing in Caminha

The City Walk will host the 2nd World Championship for Indoor Rowing INAS-FID for athletes with intellectual disabilities, which will take place between 25 and 27 November in the Municipal Sports Pavilion site.
This event will be attended by some 40 participants from five countries from three regions of the globe: Portugal and Italy (Europe), Hong Kong and Macau (Asia) and South Africa (Africa).
The National Team, which made its last stage of preparation in the past week-end in-o-Velho Montemor consisted of the following: Joseph Pereira, Nelson Withers, Peter Quintas, Ricardo Pires, Ana Ramos, Carla Lisbon Cristina Smith, Elizabeth Santos, Paula Santos, Sara Pinho (all rowers) and John Sparrow (Head of Delegation), António Neves (Team Leader), Nuno Santa Rita (Technical Coordinator), Isabel Jesus and Jose Pedro Guimarães (Trainers).
It is expected that Portugal will continue to garner success in this aspect of rowing, after the brilliant stakes in Liberec (Global Games) and Hong Kong (1st World Cup) with three gold medals and two bronze in the latter.
