BAYER LEVERKUSEN SNUB £16M CHELSEA BID FOR ANDRE SCHURRLE

CHELSEA have had a £16m-plus bid for Germany striker Andre Schurrle, 21, rejected by Bayer Leverkusen.

Leverkusen chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser said: “The sum was pushed back and forth between the two clubs. We ultimately chose Andre.”
