BOSS Brendan Rodgers insists Swansea will not get sucked into a relegation scrap.

The Premier League new boys have lost their last three matches and are 14th, 11 points above the drop zone.


Swansea face crunch clashes with relegation contenders QPR and Blackburn in the next week.


But Brendan Rodgers, whose side travel to Loftus Road tomorrow, insists he is not concerned despite a dip in recent results.


He said: “I don’t think about the relegation battle. I really concentrate on ourselves.


“Every team down there will think they can get out but I only concentrate on Swansea.


“We are in a race and we are entering the final stages of the competition.


“For me it’s about how high can we finish. That means looking upwards.


“Where we are is a great credit to the players and their approach to the game.”
