Chelsea chief Jose Mourinho charged with misconduct for West Ham antics

THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION have charged Jose Mourinho with misconduct for his actions during Chelsea's defeat to West Ham.

The Special One was sent to the stands in the 2-1 loss to the Hammers for entering the referee's office at the half-time interval to complain about Nemanja Matic's red card.

And the FA have decided to punish the Portuguese for his controversial actions.

"Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct in relation to his language and/or behaviour towards the match officials in or around the dressing room area at half-time," a statement on the FA's website read.

"Chelsea coach Silvino Louro has also been charged with misconduct in relation to his behaviour which led to his 45th minute dismissal from the technical area.

"West Ham have been charged for failing to control their players in the 44th minute of the game and Chelsea have also been charged with the same offence for an alleged breach in the 45th minute of the game.

"All parties have until 6pm on Thursday [29 October 2015] to reply."

Mourinho, 52, is currently serving a one-match suspended Stadium ban for his comments following Chelsea' 3-1 defeat to Southampton earlier this month.

And if he is found guilty of his latest charge, that ban could come into effect for the Blues' Premier League clash against Liverpool - which takes place on Saturday afternoon.

Mourinho's latest rap is the seventh time the former Porto chief has been reprimanded by the FA since his return to Stamford Bridge.
