Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather reportedly targeted for early June
CONOR MCGREGOR's pursuit of a fight with Floyd Mayweather is reportedly edging closer and closer to coming to fruition.
The reigning UFC lightweight champion has been angling for a boxing match with the Olympian for the last few months.
McGregor, who is currently preparing for the birth of his first child, has made his intention to fight Mayweather known on several occasions, even going as far as saying he won't fight anyone other than the five weight world champion.
Last month, it was reported that Ireland's first UFC champion had struck an agreement to fight 'Money' Mayweather, who is currently enjoying retirement.
However, it's worth noting that 'The Notorious' would need the UFC's permission to take part in the proposed 'Billion Dollar Fight', something the promotion's president - Dana White - has repeatedly rubbished.
