FERNANDO TORRES took his goal tally to four goals in four days as Chelsea swept Sunderland aside at the Stadium of Light.

The under-fire £50million striker followed up his Champions League double on Wednesday in the 6-1 drubbing of FC Nordsjaelland with a brace – including his first competitive penalty – to bury the Black Cats.

Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez pointed out: ‘‘I said before that if the team play well and create chances, Fernando will score.’’
