GARY CAHILL has urged Chelsea to turn Totten- ham’s Champions League dream into a nightmare.

The London rivals are locked in a battle to finish in fourth spot and secure a place in club football’s richest competition.


Spurs looked to be cruising towards a top-three finish earlier this season and even threatened to challenge for the title.


But Harry Redknapp’s men have hit the rocks following a woeful run that has seen them win one of their last six league outings.


The Blues, meanwhile, have lost just once since Roberto Di Matteo took charge on an interim basis following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.


Di Matteo’s men have closed the gap on Spurs to just five points with nine games remaining.


And despite the blow of losing to Manchester City on Wednesday night, Cahill reckons his side have the confidence to go on a run and overhaul Redknapp’s faltering outfit.


They clash at Stamford Bridge tomorrow and England star Cahill reckons Spurs are feeling the heat.


He said: “We have had good results and built some momentum of late.


“The camp is positive at the minute and we’re looking to get the run going again on Saturday.


“I heard a little statistic that if we go all the way in the competitions we are still in, we have 15 games left until the end of the season. It is amazing and something we’re striving to do.


“Spurs have been fantastic, but it is tough to keep it going week in and week out. You’re always going to have a blip in the season and maybe theirs has come.”
