LIVERPOOL are lining up a stunning £70m move for Thomas Muller.
 
 The Bayern Munich striker, 25, is being chased by Manchester United as they bid to strengthen their strikeforce.
 
 But according to German newspaper Sportbild, Liverpool are plotting an incredible swoop to gatecrash their rivals.
 
 It's claimed Brendan Rodgers is a big Muller fan and he's pondering an offer that would rock football.
 
 But a switch remains unlikely after Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insisted the Germany ace was going nowhere.
 
 He said: "I have the feeling that Thomas is at Bayern for life and will never leave.
 
 "When Thomas one day ends his playing career, we would like to integrate him into the club in another role.
 
 "He is totally comfortable in Munich. I do not think that our fans have to worry."
 
 Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been linked with a big move.
