Man Utd News: Foxes plot midfielder raid, prodigy arrives at Carrington, Cavani snatch

STARSPORT bring you the latest transfer news and gossip coming out of Old Trafford.

Leicester have expressed interest in signing unsettled Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.

According to Brazil-based publication Globo Esporte, Claudio Ranieri is looking for a creative spark and views Pereira as the ideal candidate.

The young star dreams of representing his country in this year's Olympic Games and is fully aware he needs more first-team action to make the squad.

High-flying Leicester will need to battle PSV Eindhoven and Malaga for a six-month loan deal.

Chelsea have entered the battle to sign Paris St-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.

Hopes were raised after reports Cavani's representatives contacted Manchester United officials to discuss a potential summer switch.

However, the Daily Mail now claim Chelsea will enter the bidding war at the end of the season.

Manchester United are considering signing Polish youngster Bartosz Mrozek.

According to Polish publication Przeglad Sportowy, Mrozek has arrived at Carrington training facility to spend a few days with the club.

The 15-year-old plays for Lech Poznan and represented Poland at Under-16 level in a 4-2 victory over Northern Ireland.

The teenager is considered to be one of Poland's brightest talents and would follow in the footsteps of Kamil Grabara who signed for Liverpool on January 6.

Mrozek will be monitored by United's academy staff for the remainder of the week and return to his native Poland on Sunday.
