MANCHESTER UNITED are facing a battle to land Colombia starlet Juan Fernando Quintero.

The 19-year-old has attracted the attention of Europe's top clubs, including United, since joining Italian side Pescara on loan this season.

And although the talented midfielder admits he could be keen on a move to United, he has stated that Inter Milan would be his favoured destination.

"I like Inter better because it has many South Americans. And in Italy I'm happy," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

But Quintero, who has been valued at £8million, is not set against a move to the Premier League once he finishes national duty at the South American U-20 Championship later this month.

"It is clear that I would not say no to other good teams. I think big: Manchester, Milan, Juventus ... I will decide with my family and Calleri, my agent."
