Nathaniel Clyne reveals what nickname Jurgen Klopp has given him at Liverpool


 
NATHANIEL CLYNE has revealed that Jurgen Klopp refers to him as a machine because he’s always available for selection.
 
The 25-year-old defender has played every minute of Liverpool’s Premier League campaign, and both EFL fixtures against Burton and Derby.
 
 The ex-Southampton star said: “The manager has called me a machine in the past.
 
 “I’m not entirely sure why, it’s probably because I play in loads of games and rarely get injured or come off with knocks.
 
 “All I try and do is my best for the team and try not to complain about anything.”
 
 Surprisingly Clyne was forced to withdraw from Gareth Southgate’s 23-man England squad with a slight knee problem sustained during Saturday’s victory over Swansea.
 
 But he’s expected to be ready for Manchester United’s visit to Anfield on October 17.
