URUGUAY manager Oscar Tabarez last night told Luis Suarez to ignore the English boo-boys.

The Liverpool striker was taunted every time he touched the ball in Uruguay’s 2-1 win against the UAE at Old Trafford on Thursday night.


The crowd’s reaction followed Suarez’s racism row with Manchester United’s Patrice Evra last season.


But Tabarez admitted: “We were expecting this but we can’t demand anything from the fans.


“We all just have to get on with the game.”


Meanwhile, Tabarez admitted he was in the dark about Liverpool’s reported interest in midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

He said: “I will ask him if it is true and if it is, I will congratulate him.”
