Paralympic receive special package for Londres2012



Luanda - A delegation of athletics for the disabled who will participate in the Paralympic Games in Londres2012 can benefit from special package in obtaining visas, and a stage of 15 days at the venue, Angop learned.
 
According to the chairman of the Angolan Paralympics Committee (CPA), Leonel da Rocha Pinto, that was discussed during a meeting with the British ambassador in Angola, Richard Wildash.
   
Speaking to reporters, the official said that the sporting achievement of the stage in England is part of a training program for Paralympic selection which also includes participation in international events across Europe.
 
He stated that the objectives for the improvement of three silver medals won in Beijing/2008 by José Sayovo, will be important to achieve the stage of the competition on stage for exploitation, especially infrastructure and adaptation to climate.
 
"We are working to obtain funds, taking into account the achievement of this goal," he said, adding that he received assurance of help from the British ambassador in the country.
 
For the Paralympic Games in Londres2012, Angola will participate in athletics with eight athletes (six men and two women).
 
The preparation for the event began on June 1 in Luanda with 25 athletes, four of whom experienced clearance in the world of Turkey (José Sayovo, Octavio dos Santos, Francisco and Miguel Joaquim Manuel).
 
An internship in Cuba from 15 February to 30 March 2012 and another in the host city of the Games (London), on the eve of the rally, the highest points of the preparation of the Paralympic selection.
