 Arsenal fans call for Arsene Wenger to leave with banner at West Brom
 
 ARSENAL fans are calling for Arsene Wenger to step away from the club.
 
 The Frenchman has overseen the club's worst start to a season in 28 years and picked up only their second win in the Premier League this month today at West Brom.
 
 And fans displayed a banner at the Hawthrons today reading: "Arsene: Thanks for the memories but it's time to say goodbye."
 
 Wenger, however, remains bullish.
 
 In response to the fans demanding he leaves the club he said: "I don't want to comment on that.
 
 "I try to do my best for this club that I love. We are very united with the players and staff around the team, that's all you can do.
 
 "It's easier to deal with the upwards than the downwards, but you cannot be a manger and have only one side."
