TOTTENHAM LINE UP £12.5M BID FOR CSKA MOSCOW ACE ALAN DZAGOEV

TOTTENHAM are lining up a £12.5million bid for CSKA Moscow forward Alan Dzagoev, according to reports.

The Russia international scored three goals at Euro 2012 to become one of the stars of the tournament, despite his country's poor performance.

And Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is thought to have lined up the 22-year-old as a replacement for wantaway star Luka Modric.

Rivals Arsenal were also thought to be interested in Dzagoev, but their pursuit of Malaga's Santi Cazorla should leave the way clear for Spurs to snap up the Russian.
